I'd say I-95 is a totally different experience than I-90. I-95 is too narrow
and too filled with trucks.
The times I've driven I-90 I've been amazed at the reckless driving I've
seen...and I'm originally from NJ.
But YMMV. Just goes to show how statistics say one thing, perception
another...reality is somewhere in between.
Perhaps it's expectations/self fulfilling prophecy, rather than reality. I
never have any problems driving in NJ, except for the narrow lanes on the
Parkway and summer traffic. But I know what roads to avoid and when to avoid
them. And I stay off I-95 in CT (I live near I-84) because of
traffic/trucks/construction.
But MA is a PITA to drive, at least I-90. Again, I may see things there I
ignore in more familiar surroundings.
