mixing and matching tires on a Quattro?

Hello Tess

I've experience darty handling and poor tracking when tires were mixed on a
quattro. I never tracked it, so I can't say how it would affect track
performance. I can just tell you that on the street it was a bear to drive
so I always replace in sets of 4 unless there are less than 5,000 street
miles on a set of new tires and have to replace one.

Since you have directional tires, you should only swap front-to-rear and not
side to side, unless you have the tire remounted. Hope this helps!
Richard
