I pop the undertray off, then jack the entire front using the subframe, then
jack the entire back using the rear diff. Jackstands go at the normal
jacking points at the front and rear of the door sills.

Hi Folks,

In the process of repairing a leak in the lower tranny cooler line and
changing the tranny fluid on my 97 A4 18tqa. Need to have the car level
before I proceed. Wanted to know how you guys normally jack up all four
wheels. I've got a pair of jack stands and will be buying another set.
So, do you jack up one corner, say RF, the LR then LF and then RR or do you
just do the front then the back?
Also, can I jack up the car from the front/rear sub frame to place the jack
stands under the jack points without damaging the sub frame?
Any special techique to this?
Thanks
Mohammed
