Audi's new "nose"

I just thought of something...  The new "big" grill treatment on
the upcoming A6, A8-W12, etc., might look ok with the wide and shorter
Euro license plates mounted on them,  because the plate bi-sects the
grill neatly into the upper and lower portions.  However the narrow
and taller US style plates is not going to look too good on there.
In fact the US plates are going to block the lower grill slightly.

I wonder if Audi might restyle the grill a bit for the US market?
I have a feeling people are going to leave off their front plates
(where legal or could get away with).
