problems with ATE Power Discs?

I have tried the power disks twice, once on a '90 VW Corrado and once on a
'96 VW Passat. The corrado became undriveable due to the rotors after a short
period of time, and the warp in them obliterated the mintex pads. On the
passat: Very noisy for a new set of brakes, slight warping. Given some
performance driving I'm sure that one would have a lot of trouble too. My ATE Powerdisk
verdict- They will stop the car very quickly in inclement weather, but not
for those who like to have brakes after a track event or anything close to it.
Great rotors for a commuter that needs excellent highway braking in a
hurricane. My '87 5000 CSQT recieved a new set of stock rotors all around, and with
all that weight it still doesn't warp the stockers- no matter how it's driven.

Hope that helps
-Sean
