That's what my 5ktq did before I replaced the MC/slave.  When it wouldn't
stay up by itself, I sometimes could pull the pedal up and push it down
repeatedly to pump it up a bit.  Eventually even that didn't work.  I'd
plan on the service ASAP.  I think I got about a month's daily use from the
first symptom until I had to start it in gear and get the engine/road
speeds coordinated enough to shift without grinding gears.
