Is AOA/VAG really telling the dealers to only access their database for 
getting the unlock radio codes?

The dealer wants to schedule a tech and ~$44 to recover the radio code.
They have to do all this with corporate to get the code back.

Rumored to need a tech number.
Shop number
Registration
Plate (reg?)
radio barcode (Serial number)
and shop time.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
