$40 -- $28 oil filters?

Not a chemist by profession here, but I thought the Castrol Syntec 
was NOT a fully synthetic oil.  I believe Mobil 1 is as are many 
others.  Buy the 5 qt. jugs of it at walfart for $20 and save some 
bucks that way.  Geez, the filter costing as much as the oil..... 
what a concept.
