Keith,

Try this link to Chris Miller's site. I've use his method and has
worked great on my 91 200q20vt sedan. Chris' site has a wealth of
information on the Type 44 car (20 valve version).

Try this:

Ok, the tab is on the *lower outer* adjuster. So is the lower adjuster
for vertical or horizontal adjustment?

I've got two different responses now, one indicates the *inner* (which
is upper) adjuster is for vertical adjustment, while this response would
seem to indicate the lower (outer) knob with tab is for vertical
adjustment.

I ask because I played with both last nite and saw no difference either
vertical or horizontal. Am I supposed to be doing anything other than
just turning a knob?

The tab is used to aim the lights lower when the car is fully loaded,
and can be hooked up to an actuator motor, which allows you to do this

from inside the car.
