Towing

I agree with the manual. On a non-Torsen Q, as long as the front and center (the center is the key) diffs are unlocked, you can tow with the car on a hoist and the front wheels off the ground.  BTDT for more than 50 miles with no apparent damage.  

I would never put a Torsen-equipped car on anything other than a flatbed.

Speaking of which, who "tows" cars with all four wheels on the ground, anyway?  That sounds more like dragging than towing, and if you have to do that...
