Bernie's comment on the fan resistor

Hi Bernie and all -

You know, I took out and replaced the fan resistor (the one where you have
to pull the glove box) last... spring? I think. The fan problem never
went 100% away... the air movement was not present on 1, dismal on 2, and
OK on 3 and 4. Now things have kind of puked out so that both 1 and 2 are
kaput, 3 can be kind of puny, depending, and 4 is a bit loud but it
works, although I'm afraid I'll burn something out if I leave
it on for long.

Should I replace the resistor again? Or is there another part of _that_
puzzle?

Tess
p.s.

I'll bet y'all are thinking I got a lemon car here, but no. I've
driven and tracked this car for so many years I'm not about to give up on
niggling problems, and she's coming up on 20 years old, so please consider
that.
