The point is, eliminating two problems at once. The first is, no dealing with removing the screen form the line. The other is, replacing the pump, which if you have this problem with your tank you have a bad pump. Then you will never have to deal with the "sock" again.

Tony, about intank pump...what good would it do for us to convert a 4k
to having an intank fuel pump vs an external one?
