Still looking for Intercooling heat sensor

Check http://www.sjmautotechnik.com and the diagnosis sections. The intercooler
sensor is right near the Michelin Man (ribbed) hose on the intercooler
itself. Held in by two 5 mm allen screws. It appears that there is
only one wire coming from the sensor, but it's really two. There is no
connector unfortunately, so it means cutting and splicing. Use good
sealing heat shrink. Sources for the sensor would be places like
lister Chris Semple at Force5 automotive, (don't have the website,
other listers may help), or 1-800-VWPARTS or the like. Just follow the
Bentley procedures on testing the sensor for the proper resistance.
The test is well documented in the Bentley also.
