Chris,

The bouncing tach problem - may find that in the archives is usually due to
solder connections where the tach leads connect to the circuit board if I
recall correctly. Usually hitting them up with fresh solder will fix.

The Odometer is usually the result of a failed gear, but I surmise that
since this stuff is motor operated that maybe the result of a power supply
problem, but I think that the speedo would also be affected.

For years my tachometer has been intermittent, and the
trip odometer & odometer haven't worked for some time.
Would it be cheaper/dumber/whatever to replace the
instrument cluster? Or do those problems lie
elsewhere?
