Depends on how hard you complain.  You probably wouldn't have had that oil 
changed if you knew your car was going to be destroyed the next 
day.  That's one pet peeve I have about the insurance system.  IMHO, if 
someone else destroys your car (meaning the accident is their fault) then 
they should have to pay a premium on the value of your car for the 
hassle.  Book value is what someone tries to get if they WANT to sell their 
car.    When someone totals your car, they are FORCING you to make a sale, 
and should be charged accordingly, say 25% extra or $1000 (whichever is more.)
