Now Hugh don't insult a little I-4 by calling it a v-6, but thanks for the
info.I agree that the "V" is most important. Equal pressure from both sides
keeps the pulley going around.

I'm not going to stick my neck out and say "no," but what makes the
Conti belt work right is the angle of the "V" fitting properly.  I
suspect the 0.5 mm width difference will make less difference than
having an "inch sized" belt with the wrong V profile... but I would get
a second, informed opinion on this before taking my guess for gospel!

This info is based on experience with the 5 cyl, by the way, it probably
applies to your (V-6?) as well.
