First I'd! just like to thank everyone on the list for all the help I've gotten in the last couple of weeks. It is much appreciated!
So I removed the AC from my 4kq a long time ago but never pulled the condensor in the passenger footwell. I finally pulled the glovebox without pulling the ECU - I just kind of held the box off to the side- and removed the condensor. I then wired up some gauges (boost egt water temp) using all seperate new wiring and reinstalled the glove box/ecu. Now, I try to start the car and it won't fire. It was fine just a couple days before when I last started it. It cranks over like mad but nothing else happens.. The only thing that seems a little fishy is that I can't smell any fuel when I crank it and before I could smell a little after cranking. I also cut the wires to the closed throttle switch to splice in a different switch but didn't get it back together yet.
My hunches are that either the FPR died, I dislodged something on the ecu while pulling the glovebox, or, Not getting any signal from the throttle switch won't allow the engine to run. However, I had the plug for the switches plugged into the ISV and the car still ran just not very well...
Thanks again for any help
Matt
