200TQA boost sensing question

I believe you have to change out the boost sensor INSIDE the ECU to get it
to agree to greater boost than 1.7. Your car isn't supposed to show more
than 1.4 to the ECU, but the springs are allowing you to get to the 1.7
which is the cutoff limit, as I understand the system.
