200TQA boost sensing question

Go to www.sjmautotechnik.com find the link to the "Secrets of High Boost"
and you'll get
an excellent description of what's supposed to happen.
What you have is an MC2 engine, which (as I recall) is supposed to shut off
boost at
1.65 bar. You really can't get more without a: fooling the ECU, there is a
diode type
mod that will cap the signal sent to the ECU at 1.4 bar, but the engine will
boost higher.
Not for the faint of heart, or for someone without an auxiliary boost guage,
as all of the
overboost safety controls are effectively bypassed by this mod. or b: an
alternative ECU,
of which Scott Mockry (host of the aforementioned site) is one vendor of the
modded
MAC-14 required.
