It's not all bad- I don't think the Boxster, Cayman or 997 are all that bad.

The Cayenne I never really understood, but I think that was a necessary
evil-
it made a lot of money while it sold- now it's kind of dead in terms of
sales due to
the high price of fuel.

I thought the 924 merely used an Audi engine because Porsche wanted an entry
level sports car using a lot of off-the-shelf parts to reduce the cost. The
924 was
always marketed here as a Porsche, not anything to do with Audi, nor did
they do
that in Europe IIRC.
