Good question, I would have to at least guess "yes". Those engines
still have to be aligned by the timing marks, so I would expect a
similar visual access to the flywheel.

Since I don't know, really, where they are, I can't tell you.

Sorry, I was trying to be clear. Left side facing forward, to your
right facing the front of the car.

No, that can help with the rearmost oil pan bolts. You said you have
them all out, so that's not an issue.
I don't know what would hang up in there, the two or three windage trays
I've seen go in required no finicky set up. Hmmmm, wait, the distant
fog of memory is trying to clear... let me look at some pictures...

The oil pickup is bolted in *after* the windage tray is in place. You
should be able to remove the pan (& gasket) first, then you need to
remove the pickup tube assembly in order to let the windage tray come off.
Also, if you are working in tight quarters, that pickup tube will block
attempts to slide the oil pan out, since you have to clear it first.
