Well to this I must fess up to a bad habbit in lingo. For the first 21
years of my life living in south Florida I had never once seen any
real fog except maybe a slight slight bit in early early morning hours
after a rain storm. Because of that the true meaning of 'fog light'
was lost on me. I tend to look at anything thats not a headlight as a
fog light. Take a 914 for example. The (optional) 4" light set low in
the bumper with high wattage bulbs I consider a 'fog light' even
though it can only be turned on in conjunction with the high beams.

Since moving 700 miles north 2 years ago I have actually learned what
"real" fog is and the reason NOT to turn on the high beams ;-).
Unfortunately my bad habbit has stuck with me, but I'm trying.

To translate my bad wording how about if I were to say the Euro city
light would be constant on, regaurdless of parking/headlight state.
Then the H3 would come on with the parking lights, as the old 2156
bulb in the same location on the DOT headlight did, then the low/high
beam function would be left to the H4. Of course after realising how
bright that H3 is I see that this is a very very bad idea!!
