Selling my Audi, what's a fair price?

Do I ever agree with this! I'm a supposed "adult" in school now full-time.
The folks you see driving earlier FWD Audis are all 18 y.o. kids. Usually
girls. There was one hopped-up 4KQ that parked near me last quarter, owned
by a kid who impressed me as pretty much knowing what he was doing, but
aside from that, all the newer cars have the "Microsoft" parking sticker
hanging from the rearview mirror.

I was telling Tony H, who'd asked about my door, that even though my '88
80Q has a yucky door smack right now ... and a windshield with at least 5
years of track spray in it... and the paint is overall not as pristine as
it was when the car was new ... I have kids walking up to me to tell me
how sweet they think my car is. They wanna talk about it. They know what
a cross-drilled rotor is, they spot the rear anti-sway bar. And this is
a car I would be a little shy these days to take to an Audi event because
she's no longer perfect. &:-(

But who wants an old FWD car when you can get a Civic real cheap?
Parts for those Japanese cars are CHEAP. Selling points for an Audi would
be stereo, sunroof, electric window-winders, heated seats, hauling friends
around in luxury, trunk space (+/- I don't think you have a lot of that)
.... maybe some cool wheels.... I think bling and making it really really
sprarkly clean would get you $1200 or more here. What it's worth is what
someone will pay for it.
