brake pad wear indicator connector

Kent: I have the flaky pad wear indicator on my car too. I jumpered the
wires at the wheels, but the idiot light still comes on. I have gotten in
the habit of clearing it with the dash button but have not chased the
problem any further. When I had the air box out a couple of years ago, I
repaired the wire bundle under it - lots of loose insulation and nasty
looking stuff. I thought maybe a broken wire was causing the indicator to
come on, but found nothing.

I will be watching with interest if you solve the problem at the secondary
connector. Thanks for the pix.

Also, I noticed your 80 amp fuse box looks somewhat corroded. You may want
to check it. I abandoned the 80 amp box and WW2 fuse in my car some time
ago, and installed a blade fuse up on the shock tower flange - end of flakey
fuse problems, and much better protection for the fan circuit.
