91 V8 Quattro - Lemon?

... it is certainly true that the complete car is worth less than the sum of
its parts. Unfortunately, I don't think it is that unreasonable to see a
1991 Audi V8 Quattro 5-speed easily selling for $500. I own 2 of them ...
wish I'd paid $500 for 'em ...
People view them as heavy sedans ... who's going to pay money for a 15 year
old sedan? I saw one advertised on the Marketplace for $100 recently ...
perhaps it was a typo. All I can say is that I'm still having fun with mine
...
When is this LeMons race at the Altamont ... looks like its in May ... but I
can't see what day. Perhaps I'll take one of my V8s out there to cheer on
its cousin in the race ...

I think the engines sell regularly for $1k or so (to Marc Swanson).
Doesn't Lemons have a kicker to keep an eye on value cheats, that they
can buy the car for $500 if they want to?
