high beams won't turn off!

Stuck relay (mechanically or electrically internally shorted)... or the
trigger wire to the relay is always on.
Easy enough to test for... pull the high beam relay and check for voltage
on the trigger side with the high beam switch engaged and released. If you
have a constant +12V on the trigger side, you have to trace why. If not,
replace relay (or swap to confirm). Due to age, it's likely a relay
failure.
