4000 cs differential locks malfuctions

I just wanted to mention that the 4000 quattro is never "front wheel 
drive", it's always all wheel drive, what you have the option of doing 
is *locking* the center and rear differentials to deal with very low 
traction situations.

If you can at least manage to get both diffs unlocked and staying that 
way, that would be the desired default condition for almost all normal 
driving.
