4000 cs differential locks malfuctions

Thank you for your answer.
I always read your comments.
The quattro tip was very good. I assumed (wrong)the system was 2wd 4wd and 4 low.
How do I know if  lock differentials are locked or not. 
I notice in the control panel  a light green came on when, I manually shift the real differential divise.
How Should the light be? On or off.
 
Is there a way to test the system?
Injecting air will work?
