I hear the Fiat Spider Twin-Cam 2L drops  in, for some

That is my understanding too. I just sent about 1200 lbs of Fiat parts to  
Australia. If anyone has an interest, the recipient sent me a rather  extensive 
email on the conversion, I might be able to find it. If recall, the  1.8 was 
an easier fit.
