That's kind of my point. Most of the "modern" sport (and aspirational sport)
cars of today feel posh and simply less raw and connected than those sports
cars of the past. Even the 996 Porsche feels posh and comparatively less
connected than the 76 911 I've driven (I totally drool for one, and have
total Porsche envy of Paulie over that!!!). Sure, modern sports cars are
much better connected than their more pedestrian contemporary bretheren. But
they still don't feel the same as their predecessors and I mean that as a
visceral negative, I know that modern iron totally outperforms the past.
