Team Door Handle...again

The secret to keeping the doorhandles on 1980s Audis was lubrication of all
the working mechanisms.  Have you lubed your newer car latching devices and
handles/locks?  I've been doing a biannual lubing, even on the 1990s and
2002, to keep them functioning.

Now that the interior door handle on my wife's '96 C4 A6 is fixed, 
the outer door handle (left rear) on my '99 C5 A6 is acting up. It 
feels "sticky", really doesn't want to unlatch unless I pull hard 
on it.

Any thoughts on this?
