Nope. The LT 944's run with custom pans with about a quarter inch clearance
to the crankshaft from the oil pan in one specific spot. The LS guys run the
oil pan even closer to the crank and still the hood wont close with about
half of an inch interferance. The LS is taller from crank counterweight to
intake manifold.
