long shot - 08 Passat question

ETKA is no help; the diagram for the "sliding roof" switch doesn't show the 
cover.  I seem to recall the 200's cover being counter intuitive -- instead of 
pulling back away from the windshield, you push it towards the windshield. That 
has nothing to do with a Passat, but it may give you a new direction (pun) to take.
