Update.... No start after timing belt replacement (2.8 30v) fuel problem

After installing a new set of plugs and still no start, I pulled them and  
they looked awfully dry. So I put a little fuel into each hole, hooked up 
the  plugs & wires and presto...life in the motor for about 2 seconds. 
Obvousally  I have a fuel problem that I will start to analize tonight. Any 
suggestions on  what could have happened during my timing belt job that would shut 
off the fuel  would be appreciated. Looks like I might be making up some 
'backyard mechanics  tools' this evening to check fuel pump operation/ pressure 
etc. If you know some  Vag-Com measuring blocks to look at, please head me 
in the right direction.  (98 2.8 30v AHA)
