[s-cars] A4 turbo mod questions

I have a somewhat different perspective in that my first car was Triumph
GT6+ that I fixed and raced. I did get rid of it, however, after my mother
and brother were almost killed in a broadside crash in a rather large
Mercury Montclair. It just seemed it would make Mom more comfortable with
me out of my 'little' car. Got a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe and started to modify
it right away. OF course, even with cams and dual dual-40mm Webers, it did
not put out the horsepower we are used to now. But I'd rather have Nick in
a car that involves him, not one that just gets him from one point to
another. He should learn avoidance better.even if he is freakin'
destroying my cars in the process!
It seems too logical to go with this particular car; '03 A4q, 40k, modified
turbo, exhaust and intake, Stasis street suspension.but 19" wheels and no
brake upgrades, geez.
.versus a bone stock, perfect '04 A4q with 74k for about the same price.and
no timing belt service yet.gads, first thing to do if I got that one!

Hey Peter!
How's the family? Fuel economy is not directly related to injector size as
the computer will only allow enough fuel to match the air. With higher
boost and higher load, you need more fuel... and that's where the negative
economy will come from. So if he can limit RPMs and/or boost in the
software, that will help tremendously.
Big injectors don't make power (volume of air does), but without enough
fueling, you can destroy an engine (quickly).
We'll see. I have 2 schools of thought on what Tyler's first car will be in
high school. It really depends on how he progresses in driving and his
behavior as I plan on having him in Microds around age 5 or 6. Who knows?
Either a junker or maybe my Z06 will be his first car. ;-)

Disconnect/Disable the WGFV which will only allow boost based on the waste

But like others have said, only matter of time until he or someone figures
that out and reconnects it.
WIth injectors that big, mileage will be horrendous.
