Thanks I just checked with JE and unfortunately custom JT pistons are now up
to $165.00 each with a minimum of four pistons per order. It was a good
thought however and thanks for the rest of the info you gave me.

Forged JE pistons custom made to application (ie, any bore and
compression ratio you want) are about $120 each...
But yes, good used pistons are ok. You should check which tolerance
group they are from and try to match the existing pistons, or better
yet have them ballanced to match.
