Thank you! How unsafe is it to leave the timing belt like that?
Hopefully I can get to it by the end of this month, but I need to
replace the strut mounts, shot struts and control arm bushings
before that (direct safety issue).

The "warbling" noise is caused by the timing belt being too
tight. Try loosening it a touch, and it should go away. I've
heard of dealer techs using a technique where the water pump
is installed slightly loose, and the belt slightly tight. Then
start the engine, and use a brass drift and hammer to loosen
the belt a bit at a time until the noise goes away. Then
tighten the bolts on the water pump the rest of the way.
I've never had the guts to try that.
The clicking might be a lifter, or perhaps the vacuum pump.
You can test the latter theory by removing the push rod for
the pump and see if it still makes noise.

Two videos: when running cold, almost no squeaking noise, but
you can
start hearing it:

Idling warm, much more pronounced squeaking noise:

When the engine is revved to 1500 RPM or so, the squeal/squeak
goes
away. It comes back when the RPMs return to idle.
What could that noise be? Is this a pulley on an accessory
belt of some
kind? Or is this a major engine issue?
Also, what's that clicking noise (easily heard in the "cold
idle"
video)?
Thanks!
