Would NG engine mate to 4KQ tranny/chassis?

Cody, how did you know??

Indeed, would the intake manifold from JT engine mate to the NG head?

What about the exhaust manifold...I think that would be pushing it huh?

I notice that the NG, automatic, non-quattro, has a simple and what appears to be a single down-pipe unlike the JT engine, which has 3-pipe down-pipe mating to the cat.

And Cody, yes I found this 1991 Audi 80, NG engine, automatic, non-quattro, at a local junk-yard with a speedo reading slightly over 54K miles and from the looks of it, appears original. The engine is very clean with many parts still factory-fresh and shiny like the fuel pressure regulator and fuel lines.

My JT-engine still pulls hard and strong, but would be cool having a fresher motor lined up. BTW, I drove the red QSW to New Heaven, CT. over the past Christmas holidays from FL and back and performed awesome, specially in the snow!!

-Regards,

-Louis
