2001 A4 2.0T tip oil light question

Certainly driving with oil light on would result in these bad things for a
perfect oil light system and there have been sludge issues on the 1.8T...I
don't know if the A4 still has a dual switch "static"/"dynamic" oil pressure
warning like my 88 GTI 16v. The "static" switch is some pressure - say
2bar - and if that ever goes active there's probably real trouble. The
"dynamic" switch is a higher pressure - say 4bar - but is only supposed to
be used over 3000rpm or so, to make sure there's enough pressure for higher
revs, the engine doesn't require that much pressure at lower revs. On the
GTI, whatever resistor network/"brain" that was used to determine the
"dynamic" rev cutoff had enough slop in it that I would regularly get "low
oil pressure" light/buzzer under certain conditions: well-warmed up engine,
recommended winter weight oil (10w-30), revs under 2500. Typically going up
the ski hill, in traffic. I would dip the clutch and blip to 3k and the
light would go off. The first time of course I freaked out and took it to
the dealer, they teed in a pressure gauge, drove around and said it was
fine. The car did this for all of the 15 years I had it - I sold it with
almost 270k mi last year and it's still running around town with a new
owner. No oil burning or major engine damage.
So I would ask, what is the oil viscosity and rev range when going uphill?
That the light goes off again when not going uphill, etc. makes it sound
similar to my GTI.
