20v Chump Car?!

Sweet....how the heck did that swap get through tech. Inspection? Oh wait,
it was Lemons, which means bribing was involved. That is an interesting
swap for a Crap Can. How long can they race on a tank of fuel? The 4.2l
weighs roughly the same as the old 5cyl 10v doesn't it?
The rules for swaps in Chump got changed for 2013; There is a $50 assessment
value plus the AIV of the new engine minus the AIV of the OLD engine.
There are a couple of "deadly/podium contender" swaps in Chump land...there
is a MR2 w/ a Camary V6, a Subaru legacy w/ a 2.5l turbo, and a RX7 302v-8.
I want to do a VR6 in the back of the Golf.
One of the advantages of the ABA is that is a pretty fuel efficient car; w/
the stock fuel tank (14.5 gallons) it can run over 2hrs. With Lemons this
is a real advantage because the car can run as long as it wants, we could
run roughly 2.5hrs; many cars were doing 2x fuel stops as us. In Chump it
isn't as big on an advantage because drivers can only be out for 2hrs.

My buddies A8 4.2 V8 powered 2700lb 4000q LeMons car would beg to differ
;-). Results have been hampered by overheating brakes and some bad luck, but
the car is FAST.
