timing belt age as a sole replacement indicator

A 225k miles, my 5000 had a few  missing teeth. I'm not sure if all 5
cylinders are interference, but mine wasn't, it was no big deal. However,
I'm pretty sure the teeth are only rubber, the nylon only runs through the
rest of the belt.
