[20v] '91 CQ wiper chatter cause

Bending the wiper arm towards the windshield at the thick, proximal part eliminated the wiper chatter. This is very hard to do by the way and requires major force.

Bending the thinner part of the wiper was ineffective.

The chatter was occurring on the way up and wiper blade angle was about 90 degrees and was decreased about 20 degrees without solving the problem.

Which direction does it squeak, chatter? On the way up, or down?
Chatter is usually caused by a too steep of an attack angle in one direction,
requiring tweaking, twisting the arm to equalize the angle in each direction.
Always seemed obvious to me.
