[s-cars] FREE! Glass sunroof/moonroof from a 93 S4

Hello s-heads

Thought the subject line would at least get someone's attention. I've had in
my possession the full glass sunroof and associated metal under tray from a
wrecked '93 S4 for about 1.5 years now. As much as I originally wanted to
install the glass sunroof on my '92 S4 mit steel roof, I have come to the
conclusion that it ain't going to happen. If any of you local guys or for
those of you that don't mind driving to come and get it, it's yours for
free. I will NOT ship this thing! It's rather large and cumbersome and I
fear that the thin metal tray will undoubtedly bend no matter how well I
package it should I ship it anywhere. From everything I've gathered, the
project would entail dropping the entire headliner and bolting this sucker
up, reconnecting the drain tubes and reattaching the headliner. It's just
not a project I want to get involved with right now and it's only becoming a
dust collector at this time.
