Morning!

Good news for me!
My 2.3-16 is sold
Which is not soon enough, you see;
driving around looking like an F350 is getting OLD!

The funds from which
will be put toward shocks and springs
This decision though is a bitch
How do I decide which things?

It's Koni's or Bilstein's for shocks
I'm not sure which
Don't want it to feel like rocks
Or too soft and end up in a ditch

H&R or Eibach for springs
I drive alot on the highway
Good thing my wife's got rings
Or I'd be sleeping in the driveway!

I paid only 1/2 attention earlier as it wasn't for me
This debate has been had many times before
I pose this question to the list
because I'm a raging S HOAR!

OK, enough Monday morning BS from me. Hey, I'm giddy with excitement here,
give me a break. Anyway, I think you all see where I'm going with this. I
know many have different variations of the above, so I figured I'd solicit
some further input from you all. I remember hearing things like "the H&R's
are stiffer than the Eibach's", or "the Eibach's don't lower it as much",
etc. So, anyone who has some knowledgeable input for me, please let me
know.

Basically, as far as my preferences / uses go, I don't give a rat's you know
what if it's stiff. I drive it daily, mixture of highway and not so great
back roads. I hate how high it is, so the lower the better. THOUGH, I did
just slap on my neu S6 Avus 17X8's mit 255/40's. Which, by the by, so many
of you here said wouldn't rub... I'm getting a very slight inner rub when I
go full lock to the right, hear it in the 'glovebox' area. Bizarre. So I
don't want to jeopardize the clearances, any BTDT's with these wheels
appreciated (Bob R., I know you'll shed some valuable light here for me!
Not to mention help me with the install, heh heh!).

So, what's the word? H&R or Eibach? Bilstein SPORT or Koni Adjustable?
TIA, and have fun with this, I'm sure I'm opening an enormous worm can here!
