Update-

First, thanks to all that a) put up with my stupid lymric, and b) provided
me with their insights regarding my quandary.

Well, after much back and forth, and seeing that ECS is out of Koni's, I
settled on H&R / Bilstein combo. I say this for two reasons. 1st, the guy
I got my car from is running that combo, along with my new 17x8 Avus' (but
245's rather than my 255's). I rode in his, saw it, etc., it's nice and it
fits. 2nd, he's a dealer, and HE's ordering it for me, at a NICE savings.
Sweet.

Stupid camber plates are being anodized this week, so it delays my order.
ARGHhhhhhhhhhh!

Since my guy's hooking me up, gee, guess I HAD to order that brake kit I'd
been craving. Went with the 993tt / Euro A8 (front and rear) rotors /
Mintex Red Box pads set up. Couldn't justify the extra $500 clams for the
OH so purty cross drilleds, that's a ton of extra dough for a car that will
only see semi annual track use. Oh well. Can't wait.

So, my car will finally be 'finished' (are they ever?) for the Regionals,
heh heh...

Thanks again all.

P.S. heh, my wife is hilarious. At a family BBQ this weekend, she made a
point of mentioning me / the list / our 'issues', etc. to everyone there.
They all kinda looked at me like a dog looks at a human when you talk to it
(tilted head), with the big "huh?" expression. Especially when she
mentioned me hosting the Regionals. Does anyone get us?

-Paul "but dear, my car's done now" Krasusky (yeah, sure!)

Paul,

Thanks :)

Hmm, I have no first hand experience with the H&R's. You might just call
Tom @ ECS and ask him his opinion..

Keith-

Thanks for the feedback, NICE pics!

RE: H&R vs. Eibach. Per ECS's site, they say Eibach lowers 1.5 vs. H&R only
1.25. Thoughts?

Paul,

If you want to see some "before and after" pics from a Eibach / Bilstein
install, check out my page at http://keith.maddock.com/s4/visualup.html

They don't lower the car a huge amount. However, to me it is just right.
I'f you're looking for the "lowered" look, you're probably gonna have to get
the H&R's (which are commonly paired with the Koni's)

Keith
