[s-cars] Removal of Centre Console ('93 S4)?

Brent,

I swapped out the rear section of my center console a few weeks ago, so it's
pretty fresh in my mind. But let me first tell you that you don't have to
remove the console to do what you want to do. The assembly that contains
the differential lock switch and diagram, and the useless little storage
tray, just pops out of the console. In fact, you have to pop this out first
to remove the console. Just insert something like a putty knife under one
of the corners and gently pry it up, with the usual cautions to be careful
about scratching things. The problem you're having with the rear air vents
is probably the "mystery" screw that holds them in from behind. You have to
take out the cell phone speaker to get access to this screw.
