[s-cars] 100 octane gas vs. water injection

In my opinion, no pressure you could generate with water injection would
ever equal the pressure in the detonation wave you avoid with water
injection.  Further, the water vapor reduces the temperature of the
charge, and, by extrapolation, the peak pressure of the burn in the
cylinder.  I don't recall ever reading that water injection causes
higher pressures.  Is there a reference I need to know about that
someone can name?
