For me it was in the rear quattro arm (control arm). A tiny bit of play -
around 1-2mm. It may not sound like much but under hard driving on the
track, that bit of play was costing me about 5+ seconds per lap. The car
just wouldn't plant itself in the corners. I wouldn't have guessed it, but I
had already looked at everything else so I thought I would swap it out and
get rid of the squeak at the same time. Both problems solved...

You can try to pack it with grease, but I hear it won't help the squeak for
long. If you're going to drive the car hard, and this is your problem, then
change it.
