I'm not one to go out of my way to defend the General every day....

BUT

My butt has been kept toasty by GM heated seats in as early as a 1998 Suburban.  And the seat heaters in 99+ full size GM trucks/SUV's will give you skin burn if left on "high" too long.  (would equate to setting the audi seat heater on "12")   Who claimed GM seat heaters were "new" ?

Ever driven a Yamaha Taurus SHO 3.0 liter engine?  It's kind of funny that
here we are 13 years later and Audi FINALLY caught up to the 220 HP of
normally aspirated power this thing put out, and it's redline was 7k.  All
that in 1989.  Kind of like the "new" seat warmers that the GM SUVs have in
them :)

IMHO, the VQ series Nissan/Infiniti V6s are one of the nicest
V6 engines I've experienced personally.

As for best 6 cylinder engines....

I'll take the 3.8L I-6 found in the E34 M5.

As well as the 1.5L turbo V-6 found in the McLaren MP4/4, as
driven by the late Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, among others.

Now I'm being a PITA.

I'm just being a pain in the ass!! I love the VR6 GTI's. City monsters

are!!! I can't wait for the R32! We all love the 5 cyl 20v, but the VR6
is
one of the sweetest engines I have ever experianced. By far the best 6
cyl!!
