chad,
that depends on the individual car. it depends on the location of the
upper strut mount, the length of the lower control arm, etc. most cars
continue to gain camber at 1" of bump, but the camber gain drops off as
the suspension compresses. at some point, they start losing camber, but
they'd probably never get to that point because of limited suspension
travel. there's not a lot of cars that would get more than 4" of bump
travel.
do you know for sure that the audi's suspension will have less camber
at say, 1" of bump?
i suppose i could measure that some time, as i already have a setup for
measuring bumpsteer on the mustang. i also have a smartlevel that i
could just place directly on the wheel face. but i'd have to take out
the strut to measure, so don't hold your breath.
